For the 2004- 05 duck season, Gottafly Guide Service and Down East Guide Service are joining forces to bring you the best North Carolina has to offer in duck hunting. They are both licensed captains and professional hunting and fishing guides with years of experience to bring you the safest hunting trip possible.
Capt Lee & Capt. George have been guiding hunting and fishing groups together for 7 years. This year they are adding new places and ways to hunts for your hunting experiences. Also feel free to ask if they can do other hunts than the ones mentioned here for you.
This season they are offering… September Teal & goose hunts or make it a cast and blast. Cast and blast consists of hunting Teal in the Am then fishing for old Drum ( 30- 50 pounds) in the late afternoon. Then early October duck hunts. Sea Duck hunting starts in October and runs through the end of the January season. November gets HOT with the first of the cold fronts and the fall migration gets under way. By the way, Sea Duck hunting in North Carolina is very good and a great way for you to get your lead dialed in for the season.
Teal hunts are in the back water impoundments as well as open water hunts at Goose Creek Impoundment. November they hunt the Sea ducks and Blue Bills. The Blue Bill hunts are a social event, hunting from shore blinds and having Oysters and stakes cooked for you in the blind you and your friends can relax as they do all the work for these hunts. Sea Duck hunting is from the boats only! During the latter part of the season you can book Sea Duck and Blue Bill hunts the same day.
Starting December when Canvas Back, Pintail & Black Ducks come in they start the Goose Creek Impoundment hunts 2 days a week. Hunting outside the impoundment is my favorite way to hunt there. Your bag limit may include… Teal. Black Duck, Pintail, Gadwall, Canvas Back, Blue Bills, Canada Goose & Sawn. Be sure to have your Sawn permit as there is always a good chance to bag one. For the impoundment hunts you will need a Game Lands Permit, it is recommend you get a Sportsman License. Hip boots or waders are recommended.
Days are very long, starting at 3AM with a long drive to get there and a good boat ride and having your guide set out the decoy spread while you set your self up in the marsh and get ready for first light. Hunting ends at 2PM and you return to your hotel shortly after dark. These trips book up quickly so you should book it early to be assured of getting the days you wish to hunt.

PLACES TO STAY
The Bayboro House is a great place to stay, being centrally located to all of there hunting locations. You will find many duck hunters to talk over your day's hunting experiences and to share your hunting stories with. It is a lodge type experience, bed & breakfast, so you can have something to eat, fill your thermos with hot coffee before you leave in the mornings. Rooms are large and spacious so you and your hunting buddies will have room for all your hunting gear.

GOOSE HUNTING IN ALBERTA CANADA
This is a hunt of a lifetime that every water fowler should experience at least once in there life. This is a in your face hunt when you sit up to pull the trigger, no more than 20 yards for your first shot. You will be hunting the first of the seasons fall migration of birds that have not been shot till you do. Canada has very generous limits of Canada, Snow, Blue, Ross geese as well as ducks.
Hunts start in September and run through October. At the first of the season you will find mostly Canada and Ross Geese, as the season progresses, large numbers of Snows and Blue geese come down. The Snows are the best you will ever eat from there.
All hunts are 3 day hunts & included license meals lodging. Air fair & ground transportation are up to you. Getting your gun into Canada is not is big of a deal as you may think, some paper work and it is in.
Your guided hunt will be done through Sean Mann Outdoors. Sean is world Champion of Champions goose caller, has been guiding Maryland & Canada most of his life. Sean also is the finest goose call maker in the world!
By far this was the finest goose--duck hunting trip that I have ever been on, limiting out with 8 dark geese and out of the field by 10AM for 3 days in a row!
